Amazon expands its Echo Show lineup in India with Echo Show 10 and Echo Show 5

Amazon has launched two new Echo Show devices in India. This includes an updated version of Echo Show 5 (review) and a new Echo Show 10. As with all Amazon Echo Show devices, the new devices come with a display as well as a front facing camera.

Amazon Echo Show 10

The new Echo Show 10 sports a 10.1-inch HD display. However, the most unique feature of the device is the fact that the display will automatically turn towards the user when Alexa is interacted with as the display is free to rotate. Not only the display, but the dual-front firing tweeters and woofer also rotate to face the user. 

For security, Amazon notes that the Echo Show 10 uses computer vision algorithms that are said to allow users secure access to a live access from the device to their Alexa app. Users can also remotely pan the display and camera to see the entire room. 

Amazon Echo Show 5 

The new Echo Show 5 packs a 5.5-inch display and features an HD camera. There is also a Drop In feature that allows users to open instant conversations between devices or Alexa contacts. The new device will be available in Black, White, and Blue colour variants.

As with the Echo Show 10, users can access the built-in camera via the Alexa app to monitor things at home. 

Pricing and availability

The Amazon Echo Show 10 will be available in Black and is priced at Rs 24,999. The new Echo Show 5 is priced at Rs 8,999, but will be available at a discounted price of Rs 6,999. As mentioned earlier, it will be available in Black, White and Blue.

As the world moves towards more sustainable fuel sources, EVs (Electric Vehicles) are looking to become the defacto automobiles in the future. To that end, countries like India and China, with large populations are also looking at expanding the EV market in their respective countries. Just a few weeks ago, Yamaha revealed its new electric scooter in Japan and revealed that it plans to launch an electric scooter in India soon. As of now, there aren’t too many large players in the scene so it’s ripe for a company that knows what it is doing to really make a dent. 

As of right now, there are only two other companies looking at electric scooters in India. Namely, TVS and Bajaj. And, because the technology is rather new, it looks like the time is right for an EV revolution of sorts. As a country that depends on two-wheelers, an electric scooter like the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid could be what tips the scales towards a more sustainable transportation system. 

In an interview with Autocar India, Ravinder Singh, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd Senior Vice President stated that the company is already in the process of developing an electric vehicle that is region-specific to India. This all really hinges on the country’s EV policy which has not been revealed as yet but is expected to fast track the production of EVs in India. With Yamaha taking a foot forward in the EV market in India, it looks like HEro and Suzuki also have plans to release their EVs in the country. If everything goes according to plan for these companies, we could be seeing a lot of electric scooters and vehicles in India soon.

The new Team Deathmatch mode offers PvP matches between teams of five players each. As with the launch of the campaign mode back in January, there is currently only one TDM map available to players right now. Called Bazaar, the new map is set in a suburban environment and is said to offer ample cover as well as vantage points. This should ensure that players need to properly strategise instead of blindly rushing in. 

In terms of weapons, the screenshots in the listing suggest that players will get access to assault rifles, SMG, sniper rifles, LMGs, pistols, shotguns, grenades and more. It is not yet known if there will be a levelling system with these weapons or if nCore Games would be adding more weapons later. We also do not yet know if more maps would come to the game or how frequently they would be added.

FAU:G isn’t the only game to be limited to Early Access. After months of teasing, Battlegrounds Mobile India also became available via Early Access last week. The game is pretty much the same as PUBG Mobile, however, there are a few differences. You can check that out in the video below.

You are looking at a base clock of 3.1Ghz at 45W and it can achieve a single-core Boost of up to 4.6Ghz while all cores can run at up to 4.2Ghz. For graphics, it has an RTX 3060 GPU with 6GB VRAM and it's got a TGP of 80W  with 5W more for boost. Additionally, you get 16GB DDR4 RAM onboard, 1TB NVMe drive, and a 1080p display with a refresh rate of 144Hz.

Nothing Ear 1 TWS earphones coming to India in partnership with Flipkart

The Realme Narzo 30 4G and 5G models join the existing phones in the lineup, the Narzo 30A and the Narzo 30 Pro 5G that were both launched in February in India. Alongside, Realme has also announced a new 32-inch Full HD smart TV and Buds Q2 truly wireless earbuds. Here’s everything you need to know about the Realme Narzo 30 4G, Narzo 30 5G, 32-inch smart TV and Buds Q2.

Realme Narzo 30 4G price and specifications

The Realme Narzo 30 4G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a punch-hole notch cutout in the top-left corner for the selfie camera. The phone measures 9.4 millimetres in thickness and weighs 192 grams. 

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G76 GPU. This is paired with upto 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and there is an option to add a microSD card for storage expansion. It runs on Realme UI 2.0 which is based on Android 11.

The Narzo 30 4G has a 48MP primary camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP selfie camera as well and the rear cameras can record in 4K UHD at 30FPS with EIS support. 

The Realme Narzo 30 4G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging out-of-the-box.

Realme Narzo 30 4G is priced starting at Rs 12,499 for the 4GB+64GB storage variant and Rs 14,499 for the 6GB+128GB model.

Realme Narzo 30 5G price and specifications

The Realme Narzo 30 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display that supports upto a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone measures 8.5 millimetres in thickness and weighs 185 grams. 

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU. This is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

The Realme Narzo 30 5G has the same set of cameras as the 4G model and it is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The Realme Narzo 5G is priced at Rs 15,999 and goes on sale from June 30 on Realme India store, Flipkart and offline stores. There is an introductory discount of Rs 500 on the Narzo 5G.

Realme 32-inch Full HD smart TV price and features

The new Realme Full HD smart TV features a 32-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Realme claims that the screen of its latest TV supports upto 85% of the NTSC colour gamut and offers upto 400 nits brightness.

The Realme 32-inch smart TV has minimal bezels on three sides and is equipped with 24W quad stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Audio. It runs on Android TV 9 with a built-in Chromecast. 

The Realme 32-inch Full HD smart TV is priced at Rs 18,999 and the interested buyers can avail the early bird price of Rs 17,999. The TV goes on its first sale from June 29 on Realme India store, Flipkart and soon in offline stores.

Realme Buds Q2 price and features

The Realme Buds Q2 is a truly wireless earbud featuring active noise cancellation and is equipped with a 10mm bass boost driver. It is a slight upgrade over the Realme Buds Q that launched last year in India. 

The Realme Buds Q2 is equipped with a 480mAh battery that provides upto 28 hours worth of battery life on a single charge. There is a dedicated gaming mode that offers upto 88ms low latency. The Buds Q2 also supports Type-C fast charging and can provide 3 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charge. 

Realme Buds Q2 is priced at Rs 2,499 and goes on its first sale from June 30 on Realme India store, Amazon India and soon in offline stores as well.

Samsung Galaxy M32 has officially launched in India as an affordable phone in the M-series. The Samsung Galaxy M32 is the successor to the Galaxy M31 that launched in February 2020. At its asking price, the Galaxy M32 goes up against the Redmi Note 10S and the Realme 8 lineup with features such as a high refresh rate display, quad cameras on the back and a large capacity battery to boot.

“Ever since Samsung launched the Galaxy M series in 2019, it has consistently disrupted the market with each new launch, bringing segment-best features that have redefined power and performance for our GenZ and millennial consumers. The Samsung Galaxy M32 is priced starting at Rs 14,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and Rs 16,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant. As part of the launch offer, Samsung is offering an instant cashback of Rs 1,250 for ICICI bank cardholders.

The Galaxy M32 will be available to purchase from Amazon India, Samsung India store and other major retailers from June 28.

Samsung Galaxy M32 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2400x1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a waterdrop notch cutout for the selfie camera and the phone has minimal bezels on three sides. The Galaxy M32 has a plastic built that measures 9 millimetres in thickness and weighs 196 grams. It is being offered in two colours: Black and Light Blue to choose from.

The Galaxy M32 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G52 GPU. This is paired with upto 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variants. There is an option to expand the storage further by adding a microSD card. It runs on Android 11 based One UI 3.1.

There is a quad-camera array on the back that consists of a 64MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field-of-view, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. There is a 20MP selfie camera on the front as well.

The power button doubles up as a fingerprint reader and the Galaxy M32 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging out-of-the-box.
