Video leak shows Microsoft Surface Pro 6 with similar design as predecessors

It seems that Microsoft may just mimic Apple. A video found on Vietnamese website has leaked the alleged Microsoft Surface Pro 6 ahead of its October 2 launch and shows the laptop with a similar design as its predecessor but with new internals. The news may also cement the claims by several reports which said that Microsoft may bring a design overhaul in 2019 edition of the Surface Pro and not the Surface Pro 6. In the video, a person is seen doing the unboxing of the alleged Microsoft Surface Pro 6. The device looks almost the same as its predecessor but with a bit more rounded edges. Moreover, it seems that Microsoft has decided to skip the Type-C port from this year’s iteration as well and may have kept the feature reserved for the next model. However, the laptop is reported to ship with the latest internals. The video shows the hybrid running on the 8th Generation Intel processors. Reportedly, the new Surface Pro 6 will still be shipped with fans to cool the chips. There were rumours that Microsoft may also bring a new Surface Pen along with the next generation of the Surface Pro but there is sighting of the accessory in the video. Microsoft is also reported to reveal its next Windows 10 update features, which are codenamed 19H1, at the event. We may also get a look at the Surface Hub 2. Last month, Microsoft started the shipping of its Surface Go laptops - an offering for price-sensitive customers who are looking for a tablet-cum-laptop that strike a balance between performance, form and function. The laptop is powered by the 7th-generation Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor. The tablet is offered in two variants: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of eMMC storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB of SSD-based storage. Image courtesy: tinhte.vn
