Nubia’s next gaming phone, the Red Magic 5G has appeared online. The company is said to launch it in China as soon as next month. The images and specifications have also surfaced online. The phone has been spotted on TENAA. Nubia has already confirmed that the Red Magic 5G will come equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate OLED screen. Further, the company’s president Ni Fei already confirmed up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB storage for the phone.
The device bearing model number NX659J has been spotted on TENAA. It comes in a dual-coloured frame with the left side sporting a blue coat of paint while the right-hand-side will tout a red finish. The rear panel is seen sporting a metal casing with visible grilles for the heat dissipation on the top and bottom. There’s also a long glossy strip that houses the triple cameras at the top. We can also see Red Magic branding in the middle and a logo on the bottom. As for the edges, we can see another air-vent on the right alongside what appears to be capacitive shoulder buttons. Further, the left-hand-side also packs an air vent alongside the alert slider and the volume rockers.
According to the TENAA listing, the Nubia Red Magic 5G will sport a 6.65-inch display and a 4400mAh battery. The device will have an "air-cooled fast charging solution" to prevent the phone from overheating while charging and maintain the battery's longevity. As for the cameras, it is expected to come equipped with the 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor. It is tipped to support 55W fast charging technology as well.
We expect more details to emerge about the phone as we approach the launch date.
