Philips launches 24-inch monitor with pop-up webcam and built-in stereo speakers

Spending a better part of the year working from home, people have invested in a home office and one of the key components in a home office is your computer. Keeping this in mind, Philips has launched a 24-inch monitor which has a pop-up camera and built-in speakers.

The Philips 241B7QPJKEB is priced at Rs 27,990. The monitor will be available online on Amazon and also via offline retailers.

Philips claims that the monitor comes with a “PowerSensor display” which saves up to 70% energy costs. It also includes Flicker-free technology to prevent eye fatigue and LowBlue Mode technology. One of the highlights of the monitor is its pop-up camera which is integrated at the top of the monitor. The base of the monitor also helps with cable management. The monitor is height adjustable, can swivel, tilt and rotation.

The Philips monitor also has narrow bezels. The monitor also has a bunch of modes such as Office, Photo, Movie, Game, Economy etc. It also has a LowBlue Mode and Flicker-free technology.

It has built-in stereo speakers giving 4W of sound output. The 24-inch panel is an IPS one giving you wide viewing angles. 

Coming the technical specifications of the Philips 24-inch monitor it has a 1080p resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a brightness of 250 nits. For connectivity, it has a VGA port, a DisplayPort 1.2 and an HDMI 1.4 port. It also has three USB 3.0. It also has a PC audio-in port and headphone out. 

The pop-up camera in the Philips 24-inch Monitor is a 2 MP FHD camera with a built-in microphone and an LED indicator. The monitor is height adjustable by 130mm, has 90-degree pivot, and -175/+175  degree swivel.
