BSNL Rs 199, Rs 798 and Rs 999 Postpaid Plans Available Pan India: Report

If you are a BSNL customer, then it may be time for you to check the plan you are on and change it as the service provider has a bunch of new plans that kick into effect today, December 1. In order to take on the competition, BSNL has three plans - Rs 199, Rs 798 and Rs 999. As you can make out from the pricing of the plans, the Rs 199 is aimed at those that don't want to spend a lot and is also aimed at attracting customers that are tied onto competing telecom providers. The Rs 798 plan is for those that need a lot of calling and data and the top tier plan is for those that want the best.

With the introduction of these three plans, BSNL is expected to remove some plans from their portfolio which include the Rs. 99, Rs. 225, Rs. 325, Rs. 799, and Rs. 1,125. If you have one of the removed plans, then according to Telecom Talk, “Existing users on the Rs 99, Rs 225, Rs 325, Rs 799 and Rs 1125 will stay on the same plans until further notice from the company”. However, let’s dive into the details of the new plans and see if they are a lucrative offering.
