Alleged Samsung Galaxy M53 5G specs and design have leaked

Galaxy M53 5G could be one of the upcoming smartphones in Samsung’s pipeline. In the first quarter of 2022, the brand has released several Galaxy A-series and Galaxy M-series phones. Just a few days from now, on April 2, the Galaxy M33 5G is launching in India. Although the M53 5G was rumoured to launch alongside this phone in Vietnam on March 27, that didn’t happen. Still, the newly leaked renders of Galaxy M53 5G (from ytechb) make us believe that such a device exists, that is if the images are authentic.

So, with a pinch of salt, here we share its ostensible details scoured from leaks and rumours so far.

Samsung may outfit the Galaxy M53 with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an Infinity-O cutout. Within this punch hole, there may be a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The rear cameras may be led by a 108MP main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro module, and a 2MP depth shooter.

Galaxy M53 5G It's disappointing to see Samsung release it with the Dimensity 900, a processor that is 26% slower than the Snapdragon 778G inside last year's M52. The main camera will get an upgrade to 108mp but the Ultrawide & Macro cameras are all worse than before. pic.twitter.com/VaKgx8kVYR

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G processor could be a MediaTek Dimensity 900 coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery size is reportedly 5000 milliamps and the device could support a 25W charger.

All of these could come at a starting cost of VND 10.5 million, which is the rumoured price of Galaxy M53 5G in Vietnam. When that’s translated, the Indian price comes about to ₹34,834 even though actual pricing may differ.

That’s about all there’s to know at the moment.
