Google IO 2023: Pixel Tablet launching on May 10, Will it beat the iPad

Ahead of the device is anticipated to be unveiled at Google I/O 2023, the Google Pixel Tablet's detailed specifications have been leaked online. At the I/O event from the previous year, the Pixel Tablet and Pixel 7 series were both on display.

 

 Google is expected to release its latest Pixel Tablet in the United States and perhaps other territories after almost a year of teasers, and the device may be presented at its yearly developer summit on Wednesday. 

The company has announced that it will introduce the Pixel 7a smartphone at Google I/O 2023, which will take place on May 10. We may anticipate the brand announcing the Pixel Tablet's main features, specifications, and availability information at the event.

The Pixel Tablet's specifications, however, appear to have been leaked by a vendor before the formal introduction. The Amazon Japan ad, which was discovered initially by Reddit user @betterpasta, includes many photos of the Pixel Tablet as well as an estimated pricing. 

A cost of JPY 79,800 about ₹48,400 for the Pixel Tablet's 8GB + 128 GB of storage variant was briefly announced. Additionally, it has been reported that the Google Pixel Tablet will be offered in the colours Porcelain and Hazel.

Before Amazon Japan removed the listing for the Pixel Tablet, WinFuture revealed additional information on the device. The 10.95-inch LCD screen on the Google Pixel Tablet will have a 2,560x1,600 pixel resolution and 500 nits of maximum brightness.

According to the description, the tablet will be powered by the Tensor G2 SoC, which also goes into the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. The gadget is believed to have 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM as standard, as well as 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage choices.

The cameras will include an 8-megapixel sensor on both the front and back. The Pixel tablet will additionally involve Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, ultra-wideband, and quad speakers. It will contain pogo pins on the backside to connect to a dock and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. According to the ad on Amazon Japan, the Pixel tablet will also include a 27WHr battery that claims to provide up to 12 hours of battery life.
