For charging you get fast charging here. In mere 10 minutes of charging, the Pods claim to give up to 90 minutes' worth of juice.
Although there is no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), you get Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) here which is aimed at blocking the outside or ambient noises while calls are taking place. In other words, it would aid in clearer calls and not so in the case of music playback.

Once it connects, you can use touch-sensitive areas on the Pods to control music playback and take or decline calls.

Google offers peace of mind from AirTag stalkers with its new Android update
Scared of someone tracking you with an AirTag? Yes, AirTag, a device by Apple that was created to help users find a lost item and have peace of mind. However, in the hands of bad actors, it could and has become a cause of concern. There have been several reports about this. While Apple did come up with built-in features on iOS for alerting you of unknown trackers following you, Android didn’t have anything until now.
With a new update, Android lets you detect and thwart unwanted tracking by AirTag and similar trackers. Google is releasing the update to Android 6.0 and above starting today that enables a new option within the Safety & Emergency setting. Let’s see how this thing works.
Android Unknown Trackers AlertUnknown tracker alerts is an upcoming @Android feature where your phone alerts you *and* locates unfamiliar tracking tags that have been separated from their owners and are seen moving with you. Look out for more on this later this year. #GoogleIO pic.twitter.com/o2MjuETYXL
— Google (@Google) May 10, 2023Once you have this update, you could go to the Android Settings menu > Safety and Emergency option > Unknown Tracker Alerts, and then tap on the “Scan now” option. This takes about 10 seconds to find the tracker snooping on your moves.
Also Read: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 price in India revealed: See how much they cost
Additionally, the new Android feature can automatically scan and alert you if it detects an unfamiliar tracker near your phone. You could find that device and disable it.
Tapping the notification shows you more details about the tracking device (like a serial number) and perhaps even the device owner. It gives you a map of where all this thing has travelled with you.
To locate the tracker, you can hit on the “Play sound” option and you’ll hear a chirp coming from the tracker. It then gives you instructions for disabling the thing.
Now, even though, this is primarily a partnership between Google and Apple, other players like Samsung, Tile, Eufy Security, Chipolo, and Pebblebee are also shown interest in drafting the aforementioned specifications. So, this feature should work to detect and disable trackers from these brands too. If they are supported at the moment isn’t clear.
Also Read: iPhone 15 Pro could be priced higher and come with a new actionable button
Finally, while we appreciate this feature’s potential to deter nefarious tracking by stalkers and abusers, this does aid thieves in disabling any tracker with the stolen item, and avert any attempts at recovering the same. Well, that’s the price you got to pay now.

Elon Musk Says He Intends to Rebrand Twitter, Blue Bird Logo to Be Replaced by an X
from Gadgets 360 https://ift.tt/tR49pNW
Musk kills the bird: Twitter rebranding to X has been years in the making
Elon Musk is rebranding Twitter to X, including the domain X.com now redirecting to Twitter.com and an interim new X logo. This may seem abrupt to some onlookers but it’s been more than 20 years in the making. Here’s the history of Musk and X and what this rebranding could mean for the future of Twitter.
The future of Twitter now is in the history of Xpic.twitter.com/IwcbqMnQtA
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 23, 2023X.com was an online bank and Musk’s second startup venture he founded in 1999. This later merged with a competing software company called Confinity and became Paypal in 2000. He was no longer a chief executive of X.com by this point. However, years passed and in 2017, he bought the X.com domain from Paypal.
He has time and again expressed his fondness for the letter X. He has even nick-named one of his kids X.

Buying Twitter has also apparently been a long-term plan to create X.com, a super-app like Tencent’s WeChat in China.
He has tweeted or mentioned X on several occasions.

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 10, 2022Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 4, 2022Twitter probably accelerates X by 3 to 5 years, but I could be wrong
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 4, 2022I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!@LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology. Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app. https://t.co/TiSJtTWuky
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 12, 2023And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 23, 2023Also Read: Elon Musk wants you to find your next job on Twitter as it takes on Linkedin
So as already mentioned, X would consist of many other apps and business. It will not just be a social media app, although that would be at the core. Eventually, Elon may bring all of his companies under the X Corp and introduce a payment system too. However, it is too early to tell.
This is a developing story and we shall keep you posted on more updates as when we have them. Stay tuned.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 specs have leaked but its the rotating bezel that could take the glory
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series is expected to launch on July 26 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Ahead of the event, we have leaks revealing key specs and the design of the watches. Yes, there could be a Galaxy Watch 6 and a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. No Pro moniker this time around, it seems. The Classic model is what we are more excited about because of the rumour that it may have a physical rotating bezel.
As long-time Galaxy Watch buyers would know, some previous models like the Galaxy Watch4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Watch, and Gear S3 Frontier had physical rotating bezels. Meanwhile, some like the Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch 4, and Galaxy Watch 5 all have a software-based touch bezel.

Why the love for a physical rotating bezel?Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
The physical bezels offer better tactile feedback because of the mechanical clicks. The software hasn’t been able to match the same feel. Plus, there could be false rotations or clicks on the touch bezel, which may irk the user.
Also, the touch bezel, in my experience, was mostly disabled on the Galaxy Watch 5 series and one may forget to enable it from the settings menu.

The physical bezel adds to the character of the watch. Many traditional luxury watches like certain Rolex models have this feature. Not just for aesthetic reasons but allow the wearer to track time differences and elapsed time, and measure performance in diving and racing activities.
On the Galaxy watches, the uses have been more for controlling the UI. Here’s how:
Uses of rotating bezels on Galaxy smartwatchesGalaxy Watch 6 leaked renders (Credis: OnLeaks)
You could move the bezel clockwise or counterclockwise to do the following:
1. Scroll through the app drawer and widget tiles
2. Control the brightness of the screen
3. Answer or reject a call.

Let’s see if the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in fact brings this feature, and how it implements it this time around.

WhatsApp on Wear OS is a big deal with perhaps small inconveniences
More than two months since it debuted in beta, WhatsApp on Wear OS is finally available for the public now. You can install it from the Play Store on your Wear OS 3-powered watch or through the connected smartphone. Here’s how to install it. We have tried it and here’s what we think.
Install WhatsApp on Wear OS: Step-by-step guideBefore we begin, note that this works on Wear OS 3 watches only and so Wear OS 2 and other legacy smartwatches aren’t supported. With that out of the way, let’s start.
1. You could either push the download to your Wear OS smartwatch from the Play Store on your connected smartphone or download it right from the Play Store on your watch. If you want WhatsApp Wear OS apk, you can also download WhatsApp Messenger (Wear OS) 2.23.14.81 from apkmirror or similar trusted sources.
2. Once it is installed on the watch, tap on the WhatsApp icon on the smartwatch’s app drawer.
3. Open it and you will be shown a string of codes that you have to enter into WhatsApp on your phone. This links/pairs WhatsApp on both devices.
Also Read: WhatsApp a stranger without saving their contact is now easier than ever
4. Now, when you receive a WhatsApp notification on your watch, below the message, you will see an option to Open on Watch. Clicking this opens the message within the WhatsApp Messenger on the watch. You can read it and reply to it via text or audio. Beneath the message, you’ll see the buttons to record a voice response or the keyboard to type out the reply.
5. You can also straight up open the WhatsApp app from the watch’s app library and get a list of recent contacts (in the order it appears on the phone version). Tap on the one you like to chat with and continue the conversation. You can also see the entire conversation history and not just the recent message.
The app also lets you continue the conversation on the phone. You just have to tap on the option called Open on Phone.
There is a complication that shows the unread message count and it works in Always On mode too. Additionally, you get a tile named WhatsApp Contacts to quickly start a textual conversation and another tile called WhatsApp Voice Messages to send voice notes to people from recent chats right away.
This may not be the full-fledged WhatsApp experience that you get on your phone yet, but it is close and has the essential features to prove very useful to Wear OS users. You don’t have to take out the phone always. Especially if you are in a situation wherein you can’t easily access the phone, this can come in handy.
Also Read: WhatsApp conversations will be more personal and engaging thanks to this new update
If your watch supports cellular connectivity, the app works standalone over LTE on the watch. That’s even better.
But, typing on the small keyboard is a hassle for sure, especially if you have big fingers.
Also, readability could be a problem for some. You may not find the interface as intuitive as it is on the bigger screen phone.
So, there are trade-offs but we think the positives outweigh these minor inconveniences. In other words, we are glad that we can finally have quick and brief WhatsApp interactions on the wrist itself. Thanks, Meta!

iPhone auctions at 200 times its original price: Heres what makes it so valuable
The first-gen iPhone has become the most expensive iPhone ever sold. The 2007 model originally sold for $599 in 2007 or $881 in 2023 (adjusted for inflation). However, in this recent auction, the original iPhone sold for $190,372, which is more than 200 times its original price. And this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. The OG iPhones have sold up like this for jaw-dropping amounts before. We have catalogued some of those auctions and tried to connect the dots to understand what makes this model of iPhone so valuable.
First, the auctions:
Notable iPhone auctions wherein collectors paid top dollars 1. October 17, 2022: $39,339.60 (8GB model)This was carried out by LCG Auctions, just like many other auctions in this list. The bid started at $2,500 but soared up 5 times that by the end. There were no aftermarket stickers on the box. It was being extolled as being in “pristine” and “exceptional condition”.
Just so you know, earlier this year, in August, another 2007 iPhone sold for $35,414.
Also Read: Apple iPhone 14 Review: A mixed bag
2. Mar 17, 2023: $54,904 (8GB model)On March 17, 2023, the 8GB model of the 2007 iPhone got auctioned off by RR Auction and was sold for about $54,000 more than its original price. This was sold by an Apple employee who had advertised it as in “brand new, factory-sealed condition”.
This was however low compared to what another seller got in a similar auction just a month back.
3. Feb 21, 2023: $63,356.40 (8GB)This was about 105 times the OG price and was also managed by LCG Auctions. The iPhone was described as “Highly desirable factory sealed”. This was sold by Karen Green who chose to leave the iPhone unopened because it was gifted to her and was locked into the ATT network while she had other phones on Verizon connection.
4. July 17, 2023: $190,372 (4GB model)Finally, just the other day, a 4GB model of this iPhone got sold off at the highest price price till date. LCG Auctions which handled the deal calls the 4GB model a “Holy Grail” because of its scarce availability. Very few units were made as people were flocking towards the 8GB model for the extra storage.
Also Read: iPhone 13 deal on Flipkart Big Saving Days is kickass: Don't miss it!
That brings us to the other question we have:
Why is the original iPhone considered so valuable? The first iPhone was a disruptive innovation in the mobile phone space. It forever changed the smartphone market and was named Time Magazine Invention of the Year in 2007.
Apple loyalists and technology collectors appreciate how revolutionary it was and how rare it is now. So, if they get their hands on an unopened iPhone (2007) in mint condition, they are ready to pay big.

Heres how you can secure Threads with two-factor authentication
Meta recently rolled out a new Microblogging App, very similar to Twitter, namely Threads. People showed their love to threads very quickly or maybe they are just needy because Elon Musk has made some unexpected changes which they didn’t really like.
If you are a Threads user and likes to keep top notch security of your social media then in this article you’ll find how to enable two-factor authentication on your Threads profile.
Also read: Are Elon Musk's Twitter mistakes responsible for Threads success?
Methods of two-factor authenticationsThere are three methods by which you can use two-factor authentication on Threads.
First is an authentication app which will be recommended by Threads. You need to download the app and link your Instagram account with it as Threads uses your Instagram as an identifier. This authentication app will generate a code which you will need while logging in. The code changes within seconds.
Also read: Threads on Windows 11 desktop: Get it running in 9 simple steps
Second authentication method can be used through SMS. You will get a code on your registered mobile number through SMS which you will have to put while logging in.
Lastly, there is also an option to use Whatsapp as your two-factor authentication method. You need to enable text messages to activate this method.
Steps to enable two-factor authentication on ThreadsStep 1: Open the Threads app and go to profile.
Step 2: Tap on the two lines on the top right corner.
Step 3: Then select Account and then tap on security, which will take you to the Meta Account Centre.
Step 4: Tap on Two-Factor Authentication and then select your Instagram account as I mentioned above that it is used as an identifier.
Step 5: Choose the method of authentication and voila!

iQOO Neo 7 Pro alternatives: The best phones under 35000
iQOO Neo 7 Pro launched recently starting at ₹34,999. It is a powerful device targeted at mobile gamers. If your use case is different or you want a different brand of phone, here, we will discuss some Neo 7 Pro alternatives. But first, let’s check out the reasons why the iQOO phone is still one of the best phones to buy under ₹35,000.
5 best iQOO Neo 7 Pro features1. iQOO Neo 7 Pro has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC as the primary processor and this is coupled with an Independent Gaming Chip (IGC) that will be used to extrapolate frames in games. So, you will be able to play a 90Hz game at 120 FPS with this tech.
2. Neo 7 Pro also has the largest-ever liquid cooling chamber on an iQOO smartphone. This and the reduced power consumption by the GPU should help keep the device relatively cool whilst gaming.
Also Read: iQOO Neo 7 Pro launches with a dedicated gaming chip: Here’s what it does
3. The phone’s AMOLED display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1200Hz instant touch sampling rate. This should play a key role in games.
4. A 5000mAh battery with 120W charging support ensures the device stays charged for long gaming hours. Even when you want to top it up, the high-speed adapter should do the job quickly.
5. Other highlight features include a 50MP+8MP+2MP triple rear camera setup, 4K30 fps video recording, and Android 13 software with Funtouch OS skin on top.
However, if you still want an iQOO Neo 7 Pro alternative, here are some suggestions:
iQOO Neo 7 competitors under ₹35,0001. Realme GT Neo 3 (150W) offers a faster charging option that helps you let go of low-battery anxiety. You also get Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the display and 4K60 fps video recording. Compared to the Neo 7 Pro, the battery size is small though at 4500mAh.
2. Motorola Edge 40 5G is much cheaper in comparison, has a close-to-stock Android software experience, and has 15W wireless charging support.
3. Google Pixel 6a is also a much more affordable option if you want something really vanilla Android (with some Pixel-exclusive features). It has also got a smaller more ergonomic screen and a revered camera performance. The battery size is 4400mAh only with 18W charging speed.
Also Read: Nothing Phone 2’s design similarities to the Phone 1 is a good thing: Fight me
4. Samsung Galaxy F54 is for Samsung fans who will get the refined and feature-rich One UI 5.1 software (Android 13-based), a Super AMOLED Plus display, a 108MP primary camera, and a massive 6000mAh battery.
5. OnePlus Nord 3 is a new OnePlus phone in the market with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. It costs less and isn’t specced too inferior to the Neo 7 Pro. Over the years, OnePlus has acquired a good brand cache too. So, you consider this phone too.

Motorola Razr 40 vs Razr 40 Ultra differences are more than meets the eye
Motorola Razr series has two phones namely the Razr 40 and the Razr 40 Ultra. The latter is the higher-end model. But, let’s compare them to see how much of a difference the Ultra offers over the vanilla model.
Motorola Razr 40 vs Razr 40 Ultra comparisonLet’s start with the obvious: The design
1. The cover screen is larger on the Ultra. It is a Gorilla Glass Victus. The regular Razr 40 has a horizontal domino-shaped screen engulfed by plastic. Even with more glass on it, the Ultra manages to stay lighter at 184 grams while the Razr 40 weighs 188 grams. It is slimmer too.
2. One of the reasons for the heavier build may be the bigger 4200mAh battery inside the Razr 40 while the Ultra has a 3800mAh battery.

3. Another key internal, the processor is better or more powerful on the Ultra. It has got a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset whereas the Razr 40 brings Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. The accompanying memory support is also inferior on the vanilla model. It is just LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage whilst the Ultra rocks LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 configuration.
4. Camera-wise, on paper, the Razr 40 has a lead with a 64MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide camera with 120-degree wider field of view. Meanwhile, the Ultra sports a smaller 12MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide shooter with 108-degree FoV.
The Razr 40 Ultra lets you shoot at 4K60 while the Razr 40 offers 4K30 support only.
5. Last but, definitely not the least: the differences in their screens. The Ultra has got a 3.6-inch outer display while the Razr 40 sports a 1.5-inch cover screen. The latter is also less bright at 1000 nits and doesn’t boast the 144Hz high refresh rate on its external display like the Ultra.
